Throughout your stay, your group will be the only guests at Eastern Cape Bowhunting — with exclusive access to the 15,000-acre bowhunting preserve.

With our Director of Hospitality focused on ensuring your group has the trip of a lifetime, you’ll enjoy the lavishly appointed Cape Dutch lodge, exquisite dining pavilion, 24-hour services of the hospitality staff, full bar with an unrivaled selection of South African wines, spa with massage therapist and steam room, equestrian program, exercise room with personal trainer and physical therapist, as well as wireless internet throughout the lodge.

Beyond daily, guided hunting expeditions and personal bowhunting lessons taught by a licensed professional bowhunter, we offer all guests a selection of premium crossbows. We welcome first-time hunters or young future hunters to try their hand at bowhunting with one of our patient, highly trained guides.

AVAILABILITY:

The lodge and hunting grounds are only available to 2-3 groups per year — bowhunting enthusiasts interested in experiencing the best and most comprehensive combination of South African hospitality, cuisine, spirits and hunting.

As a boutique lodge and hunting establishment with few guests and limited availability, the quantity and quality of the animals is unparalleled, and makes for an extraordinary hunting experience for both the seasoned veteran and novice bowhunter.

TRAVEL:

We are available to assist with your travel arrangements and recommend that you charter directly from Johannesburg, Durban or Cape Town to Sable Lodge's private landing strip. Alternately, your group may fly into Port Elizabeth where you’ll be met by a lodge representative and driven to Eastern Cape Bowhunting’s Sable Lodge — a 3+ hour drive through South Africa’s stunning Eastern Cape region.
